The Capitol Hotel Building was built in 1884. The first floor was originally a saloon with the second floor being the hotel. Records show the saloon that once occupied The Capitol building was the first saloon to tap beer through a hose from a barrel. The saloon no longer exists but in place is one of the best sporting goods store in the west. The 12 historic hotel rooms have been converted into three large vacation suites with accommodations for a couple or a family of 7. We have restored The Capitol Building leaving her to her original state with most of today's modern conveniences.
